Special Assistance

Special Medical Clearance may have to be got if the passenger’s fitness to travel is in doubt as a result of recent illness, hospitalization, injury, surgery or due to the passenger’s existing unstable medical condition. Prior permission has to be got in order to have special services such as oxygen or the use of medical equipment onboard for a passenger.

Special requests for Incapacitated Passengers with a physical disability or a neurological disorder or with a medical condition, who require individual attention or assistance on emplaning/deplaning, during the flight and during ground handling, which is normally not extended to other passengers can be made by the passenger or by their family or by a medical authority at the time of making a booking.

In keeping with the requirement of Air Safety, carriage of passengers requiring wheelchairs assistance has to be restricted on our flights. Please ensure that your request for wheelchair is made at the time of booking and confirmed before you travel with Volk Airlines, to enable us provide the required assistance throughout your journey.

Assistance at the Airport and In-flight Wheelchairs and buggies (at some Airports) are provided at the airport. All passengers with confirmed wheelchair requests, will be assisted.

Certain airports levy charges for providing wheelchairs. Kindly check regarding the wheelchair charges for the respective airports.
