Baggage Alowance

Hand Baggage:

Volk Airlines strictly believes in following the safety regulations laid out by the Government of India and hence we strongly specify that the dimensions of the hand baggage should not be greater than 115cms where the Length, Breadth and Height are 55, 35 and 25 cm respectively. Please ensure that the weight of the hand baggage does not exceed 7 kg.

Check In Baggage:

Volk Airlines allows a check in baggage allowance of 20 kg for adults and children (aged 2 and over). Any excess weight above 20 kg will result in an excess baggage fee and this fee varies from sector to sector. Details about the excess baggage fee can be obtained from our customer representatives and from our Customer Call Centre.

Once we get your bags during check in, we will issue a Baggage Identification Tag for each bag which will provide details of the weight of your bag as well as passenger information.

Volk Airlines does not have a limit on the number of bags but if there is going to be a group check in kindly ensure that each bag does not exceed 32 kg as per airport baggage restriction.

In case, your baggage lands up at another location, we will do everything in our power to see that we trace it and bring it back to you without much delay. Checked Baggage will, whenever possible, be carried on the same aircraft as you, unless we decide for safety, security or operational reasons to carry it on an alternative flight.

Lighters, Scissors-metal with pointed tips, Realistic replica of toy weapon.

Box Cutters, Ice Axes/Ice Picks, Knives (any length and type except round-bladed, butter, and plastic cutlery), Meat Cleavers, Razor-type blades such as box cutters, utility knives, razor blades not in a cartridge, but excluding safety razors, Sabers, Sword.

Baseball Bats, Bows and Arrows, Cricket Bats, Golf Clubs, Hockey Sticks, Lacrosse Sticks, Pool Cues, Ski Poles, Spear Guns.

Ammunition, BB guns, Compressed Air Guns, Firearms, Parts of Guns and Firearms, Pellet Guns, Realistic Replicas of Firearms, Starter pistols.

Axes and hatchets, Cattle Prods, Crowbars, Hammers, Drills (including cordless portables power drills), Saws (including cordless portable power saws), Screwdrivers (except those in eyeglass repair kits), Tools (including but not limited to wrenches and pliers), Wrenches and Pliers.

Billy Clubs, Black Jacks, Brass Knuckles, Kubatons, Mace/Pepper Spray, Martial Arts Weapons, Night Sticks, Nunchakus, Martial Arts/Self Defense Items, Stun Guns/Shocking Devices, Throwing Stars.

• Flare Guns, Gun Lighters and Gun Powder.
• Explosive Materials.
• Blasting caps, Dynamite, Fireworks, Flares (in any form), Hand Grenades, Plastic Explosives, Realistic Replicas of Explosives.
• Flammable Items.
• Aerosol (Any except for personal care or toiletries in limited quantities), Fuels (including cooking fuels and any flammable liquid fuel), Gasoline, Gas Torches, Lighter Fluid, Turpentine and paint Thinner, Realistic Replicas of Incendiaries.
• Disabling Chemicals and other Dangerous Items.
• Chlorine for Pools and Spas, Compressed Gas Cylinders (including fire extinguishers), Liquid Bleach, Spillable Batteries (except those in wheelchairs), Spray Paint, Tear Gas.
